This is a higher education or a second higher. This is a job. And not just one. Already a family. And children. Or a search for something new. Search for yourself. Change of priorities. The beginning of something new. And be sure to continue, move forward!
And what is 25 years for a magazine? This is a WHOLE era! These are several generations who were born, grew, lived and live with BURDA! Studied by her. He improved his skills. Comprehended new. If we talk about it, we speak with admiration, with trepidation in the heart and joy in the soul - this means only one thing! This is Love! Love from the first release, for each of its FIRST release! From the first page. From the first cover and the first new thing. The first pattern. The first dress! And while there is this love, our beloved magazine will live!
BURDA keeps up with the times, every day, every month, every year! She is with us, and we are with her!

The meeting, which took place yesterday at the Russian publishing house BURDA, was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the beloved magazine! And the main topic of the meeting is the new site www.burdastyle.ru.
The meeting was attended by almost the entire team of the Russian edition. Editor-in-chief Marianna Makarova. Publisher Hannes Stockmann (speaks very good Russian). ALL the girls who were on the list came to the meeting! Almost everyone was wearing handmade from BURDA. The company picked up a very positive and friendly! The atmosphere and mood were more than positive. Overwhelming emotions were transmitted to each other through the air, creating an even more emotional atmosphere.
A festive table with goodies, easy communication, tea drinking, questions, answers, discussions, suggestions - everything took place. But time was catastrophically short! More precisely - it flew at the speed of light! Everyone will agree with me that we did not have enough time! I wanted to know EVERYTHING and more! Yes, and talk personally!
Congratulations to the beloved BURDA and the editorial staff of the magazine began with congratulations to Anastasia Martyanova. Her poem conquered EVERYONE! It is difficult to convey emotions from its content, it is so incredibly beautiful!

For hospitality !!! So, a new site. Presumably should earn already May 25 (earned May 29 - approx. Ed.). But it’s quite a difficult job to take 10 years and “throw” them to a new platform at once! This is a tremendous amount of information and the huge work of a whole team of specialists! It is not as simple as it seems to us.
The site is an important part of the life of the magazine. It has a huge impact on its development. These are two interconnected spheres that exist separately, but still together, complementing each other. According to the magazine we are sewing. And the site gives us the opportunity to communicate, discuss.

The new site will give us the following features:
- the function of subscribing to comments on the discussion topic of the forum or photo
- it will be possible to create your own photo gallery, as a result of which there will be no need for collages.As well as the possibility of master classes from users!
- references to the original will not be needed. Since the exhibited model will automatically bind to a specific model from BURDA, when filling in keywords to your photos, respectively. Here, I would immediately like to voice a request for ALL forum users to leave maximum information on the model you sewed!
- An automatic function to get rid of those clones is not provided. But it will be run by a moderator! And again the request! Let's initially make life easier for our Svetlana on the new site! DO NOT CREATE clone themes! Use the search engine! Which will be more convenient and informative. The search engine will work on tags / keywords.
- find any information for a particular model offered by the magazine, it will also be possible by tags.
- look at the photo gallery of stitched models according to the proposed patterns (which we tried to translate into the current version of the site).
- look at the photo gallery of any participant by his NICK, which is not on the old site.
- the creation of new interesting and interesting topics will be "administered" by members of the forum and, naturally, by a moderator. Therefore, suggestions on new topics: "Alterations" or "New Life of Old Things", "SUSPENSION", "Fabric Processing" and many others. In force! We will create them for ourselves and for everyone!
- The issue of selling electronic patterns on the new site is planned. But regarding patterns by individual standards - no.
- on the new site the announcements of magazines will be complete, with photos of models and technical drawings for them. And with your favorite details regarding the consumption of fabric, the choice of material that Elena makes for us.


Girls! Much on the new site will depend on us! How will we accept it, what will we do in order for it to work, become better, be useful and full of necessary and useful information.

The expansion of the size range of models, models for men and adolescents is not planned. The fact is that the magazine is German. First of all, it is focused on the audience. On THEIR women! In SUCH quantity, as WE want, they sew to men and children, only here! In Europe, for men and adolescents it is easier and cheaper to buy than to sew. In Germany, BURDA for many is a magazine with trends, images, a guide to action! Looked HOW - went and bought! This is the position of the German side.
With regard to plus models: it is only US 48th size - NOT a reason to DO NOT wear dresses anymore! Hence the large allowances for freedom of fitting. Looser and baggy models.
At the expense of larger photo models for pluses. This is already a question of model business. Such are the standards in it. The task of the photographer is, first of all, to create an image. Show color in everything with a photograph! Creation of the composition as a whole. Show style. Everything is thought through to the smallest detail. Sea, sand, bright colors, exotic prints, carefree, light, heady state of freedom, heat and sun! If this is a city - now she is walking in an elegant dress, in a hurry, she has a difficult day ahead, meetings, planning meetings, contracts, but she is confident and beautiful at the same time! And here she is at home in her favorite armchair, in a cozy knitted jumper and in sarwells. And here is nature, country style, leather belts, boots, somewhere folklore. This is EVERYTHING and immediately we see in the photo! This is a tremendous job that we do for you!
Everyone remembers issue 10/2009 with a collection of black dresses on ordinary women! Wishes about the possibility of including such photo shoots in the magazine were transferred to the editorial office!
Retro models, interpreted to the present, will continue to please us. As well as models from designers.



Girls! Believe me, the Russian edition does not miss a single wish, suggestions from its readers! And he makes every effort to realize the desired. But let's not forget that the magazine is GERMAN! Russian BURDA is a translation material. All decisions are made in Germany.
Dagmar Billy, not only the editor-in-chief of BURDA, she is also a designer! She keeps track of fashion trends, attends shows, takes some part in the development of models for the magazine! BURDA is always in trend, and sometimes it goes forward!
In the Russian edition there is a person who has been working in "our" BURDA for 25 years! Yes, from the very first release! This is a magazine coder. She can say that adapts photos for us in the best way. Considering what the magazine was then, what were the photos, how they were presented to the reader. Indeed, the perception of Germans and we have completely different!
Regarding the magazine, I would like to say in the words of one of our forum users: “But I always buy a magazine, it’s a whole ritual for me, I’m waiting for this day, like a holiday! And let the models repeat, and not always suit the majority, we don’t have to stupidly copy that That is. We have to create, and Burda is the basis and assistant in this! Sometimes craftswomen, and not necessarily venerable specialists with extensive experience, can do this from unpretentious, at first glance models !!! Turn on your abilities and do it! !! "
As for patterns on two sheets. In this matter, the German side is adamant in its decision. The green movement in Europe is actively developing. If we are indignant at the change in the number of sheets of patterns, then this is the norm for them! Everything that can at least somehow preserve nature will certainly be done! This is not a way to save money - it is a struggle for nature, for the ecological situation! No matter how strange it may seem to us, taking into account the number of our forests, I don’t want a “cut” type.
Special issues will please us further. “Sewing is easy,” Part 2 comes out May 23. Still planned 3rd and 4th parts. Shlib, pluses, children's special issues will remain. But so far in the format in which we see them today - collections from previous issues, with a small addition of a new one. The Germans are practical people and use all the resources available to them. ШЛИБ is focused on young people who are most interested in simplicity, which is maximum in use. Pants in the "two" seams. In the morning, a shirt, under the belt in the afternoon, it’s already a tunic, and in the evening I tied it in a knot, tucked up my pants, and forward to the party!
Planned issues of several needlework knitting magazines and a collection of "Best Trends." What will happen in the last - while there is no specific information. But most likely it will be a guide to trends, trends in the fashion world.
