As you know, water resistance is stronger than air resistance, and therefore any movement in the water burns more calories.

If you want to lose weight during the holidays, and after the holidays feel light and fit, try to move as much as possible during the bath.

This does not have to be swimming. There is a special direction in fitness - "water aerobics for weight loss." Of course, it includes a specially designed set of exercises that is best performed in a group under the guidance of a coach. However, it has been proven that locomotor activity in water helps to independently get rid of a sufficiently large number of extra grams and kilograms over a short period of time.

Weight Loss Exercises

As usual, start with a warm-up: swim for 5 minutes or run in the water, trying to raise your knees as high as possible.

1 Go deep into the water and put your hands on your hips. Perform swings with legs back and forth.

2 Jump in the water, swinging your legs, spreading them apart. Then twist your legs as if you were riding a bicycle.

3 Squats: go into the water on the chest, legs shoulder width apart. Take in air and plunge into the water, keep your back straight. After a couple of seconds, rise to the surface. Then do the squats described above, but jump to the surface, trying to press the legs bent at the knees to the chest.You can also, simply standing in the water, pull one knee or the other to the chest.

4 Go chest deep in water, put your feet together, hands on your waist. Perform circular motions in a figure-eight pelvis, first one way, then the other.

5 After that, standing in the water in the same position, perform a series of punches, as in boxing. Perform circular motions with your hands in one, then in the other direction.

Tip: you can determine the quantity and intensity of the exercises yourself, however, when you leave the water, you should feel that you have been doing "water aerobics." Do not overdo it - the next day you should not "break" all the muscles.

Such independent exercises in the water not only allow you to lose weight faster, but also compared with conventional gymnastics in the air, reduce the load on the spine, increase the overall tone, strengthen the elasticity of blood vessels, etc., etc.

In addition, you get a free massage that strengthens the muscles and contracts the skin (this prevents it from sagging when losing weight).

Tip: do it yourself in the water or ask someone to do it massage hips, calves, feet - this will strengthen the vessels and muscles of the legs, which usually have considerable loads.

However, be careful with some diseases of the heart, genitourinary system, etc., consult a doctor - for someone, bathing in cold water can negatively affect your health.
