The end of August marks the release of the beloved September issue of Burda by many, and my traditional review will help you sort out the choice of models for tailoring, taking into account the latest fashion trends.
Autumn issues of the magazine are especially good for needlewomen: coats, jackets and trench coats are in demand in our country almost all year round. In addition, autumn is the favorite season of many fashionable women, when it is possible to compose multilayer images and at the same time feel comfortable in them, not languishing from the heat and not stiff from the cold. The September issue of the magazine offers beautiful models, ideal for combining with each other and patterns from previous issues, as can be easily seen in my article:

1. Aviator jacket

A little over a year ago, an aviator jacket made of sheepskin (natural or artificial) conquered the fashionable Olympus and remains relevant to this day. The magazine offers a very smooth trend, I offer alternative options for patterns in the article:

a small-volume cropped jacket with reliefs may look old-fashioned.
On a note:
ladies with lush hips should make the jacket longer - below the widest place. Such pockets will also add volume.
Idea:
make it freer by taking a pattern two or more larger; make double-breasted like a jacket-jacket; to sew a suit with a mini skirt - for advanced fashionistas.

can shorten the neck. Will make large breasts overweight. Will show broad shoulders.
Idea:
sew from plastic, but shaped knitwear, make a V-cut according to indications or desire.

Dress shirt, dress to smell, dress in military style - and all this is about one model! Of course, the current model! However, you should be careful with the form-containing tissues, because of the assembly, they can add volume in the abdomen.
On a note:
a neckline, especially without a stand, will lengthen the neck. Decorative valves on the chest will emphasize it, the smell will hide an imperfect tummy.
Idea:
sew from a plain fabric in khaki or beige colors.
5. Pants with pleats at the waist

Finally, a pattern of trending season of trousers-bananas with a clear fit at the waist appeared in the magazine. Such trousers can make you fuller, so the vertical lines in the form of arrows will help to stretch the silhouette.
On a note:
add volume to the hips, show thin ankles
Idea:
to facilitate the silhouette, create a vertical color by choosing the top of a similar shade and choosing shoes of the same lightness as the trousers.
6. Blouse with flyaway details

Trendy trench coat with an avant-garde note. It will be good both in the form of a raincoat and in the form of a vest (yes, they are coming back!).
On a note:
will expand the shoulders and make the upper part of the figure more massive.
Idea:
such things are always good in the length of a confident midi (to the middle of the lower leg and a couple of palms below the knees). You can continue to be creative and make the yoke detachable.

The cropped 80's blouseon is with us again! And he is good in volume! Nevertheless, shortened models should be equipped with other relevant things and accessories, so as not to accidentally fall into retro.
On a note:
the neckline will lengthen the neck, but the cut will slightly increase the shoulders. Emphasizes the waist (or lack thereof).
Idea:
to increase the degree of fashion, take a size or two more, but put on the waist! Or lengthen, remove the belt, sew from knitwear and get an actual cardigan.
9. Coat with a belt

A couple of seasons ago, a coat without a collar was anathematized, but in the fall-winter 2019/2020 season, it again returned to the catwalks. The magazine offers a completely basic coat, ideal for playing with textures (leather, fur) or for sewing from two-layer fabrics.
On a note:
in a coat without a funnel, and even with a V-neck it can be cold.
Idea:
put a similar coat on a thin quilted down jacket or vest with a stand-up collar or sew a special shirt-front to it.
Another option: to complete (or take from another suitable model) lapels and a collar and get in an analogue of the legendary Max Mara coat.
10. Two-tone dress

Wrap dress with voluminous sleeves with undercuts. Even from the description it is clear that the dress is extremely relevant and is a long trend, which means it will serve you more than one season.

lengthens the neck, makes the chest easier. In the variant, a light top / dark bottom will balance a figure with massive hips. Emphasizes waistline or lack thereof.
