Autumn is gaining momentum - the October issue will go on sale very soon! And the number is good! Neither boys nor men were deprived of patterns, and female models were disassembled in my traditional review.
And traditionally a few words about the release as a whole. I was pleased with the collection for pluses and knitting, children's and men's things, but the stylization of the “Connection of Times” collection looks, to my taste, overly theatrical. Unpleasantly struck by the lack of outerwear in the standard size range, because the coat in October was very welcome. But there are a lot of blouses, trousers, dresses and jackets that can be combined with things from earlier releases.

Idea:
sew a suit, a la the 70s with an A-line skirt or flared pants; remake lapels to standard ones.

This time I decided to consider more patterns of plus models. And the first in line is an asymmetrical drapery dress.
Nuance:
boat neckline is relevant, but in my experience, the ladies in the body are more complimentary V-neckline.
On a note:
the neckline visually shortens the neck and slightly widens the shoulders, in general, the dress is more suitable for ladies with a pronounced waist.
Idea:
a very motley print distracts attention from an interesting style, so it is better to choose a calmer print (thin strip, not contrasting cage, animal print) or plain fabric without shine and pile (such as velvet).

A straight-coat coat with a set-in sleeve in camel color is hard to imagine a more universal thing.

ladies without a waist should better refuse to fit with a belt, a one-piece stand-up collar can visually shorten the neck, a V-neck will visually make a massive chest easier.

expand the sleeves for convenience, consider a fastener (for example, add to the shelves a half-drift value of 2-4 cm from the center of the front). Sew from knitwear, getting a great cardigan. Sew from faux suede or two-ply fabric.

The light asymmetry pullover is great! If such a model were given in the standard size range, I would have had no objections at all. With plus size, nuances may arise.
On a note:
such a collar can visually shorten the neck and make the big chest heavier, a lowered shoulder - to expand the shoulders, and the length - go along the widest place of the hips!
Idea:
sew a zipper along the neck with a continuation to the left shoulder seam. Make sure that the edge of the pullover does not end at the widest point of the hips.
