The spring bouquet of the current issue of the main VERENA magazine No. 1−2015 is gentle and colorful, like a flowering alpine meadow ...

Pastel colors, weightless "cobwebs", mysterious openwork, magnificent jacquards - everyone will find their own model in this issue, preferring simple cut and elegant yarn or, having accepted the challenge of hand-knitted designers who are "interested in everything that is more complicated", formulas of multicolor ornaments and intricate patterns ...
VERENA№1−2015 again presents the rubric “Variations on the theme of one model”: this time, a straight-cut pullover with a raglan sleeve is taken as the basis, and then… what’s enough for fantasy: a short or long sleeve, different neck shapes, wedge-year or downy trim - in a word, a whole bank of multifaceted ideas that develop a creative approach to knitting.
In the current issue there are a lot of complex, but magnificent jacquards, a variety of lace in the form of leaves, rhombuses, a peacock feather, flowers, a fan and so on. These models - blouses, cardigans, light jackets, worn over the top or blouses, are the main focus of the whole outfit - the "eye catcher". Thus, the magazine not only presents original ideas for spring wardrobe, but also clearly demonstrates how to ideally compose an individual outfit. The slogan of this issue is chosen "not without complaint" - "The standard of taste. Perfectionism in detail."
We know that our fans love to knit dresses and tunics - these models, of course, also exist! For example, a dress with frills of the color “Bondi Beach Water” is especially original. Similar models, which are already whole images, are filled with the current issue, urging us to go to exotic countries. National ornaments are used not only in jacquards of cardigans and tops, but also in crocheting interior items. The theme of this section is Latin America: Peru, Ecuador, Mexico, Andean ethnic motifs.
Many children's models are connected using the intarsia technique and are decorated with embroidery or appliqués.
A mixture of different knitting techniques, as well as yarns of different structures and thicknesses ... as our readers write, for them the complex models of VERENA magazine are a kind of challenge to continuous training.
By the way, the rubric “Venue of meeting” with models related by readers is again presented in the issue, and the report “Tangle of Ariadne” tells about the calendar of leading European fairs and needlework festivals. That's where there is definitely something to learn!
As always, the latest issue presents new items in the field of needlework, sketches about famous designers and a lot of other useful information.
VERENA№1−2015 on sale from February 12.
