Our heroine says that now her wardrobe is almost 100% composed of things sewn by her. And most of all dresses in it!
About the page author
The heroine of our column is called Kate. “I learned to sew 5 years ago, because I didn’t find what I wanted in clothing stores. Now, my wardrobe is almost 100 percent composed of things that I sewed myself.” Judging by Kate’s Instagram page, where she uploads photos of the things she created, most of them are feminine dresses.
I sew, therefore, I exist: sewing instagram of the week
What is this page about
Kate says that she uses ready-made patterns, but usually modifies them. “I like to add something of my own to different models, and often, having loved a single pattern, I do several different things on its basis,” she says. “I am inspired by street fashion, catwalk shows, how dressed people I meet in London and, of course, the work of other needlewomen I see on the Internet.”
Practice is the only way to perfection: sewing instagram of the week
Who will be interested in this page
We recommend Kate's page to everyone who sews - and, of course, first of all to those who like to sew and wear dresses.
