Step 1
From an elastic tape cut two parts 26.5-27-27.5-28-28.5-2.29 cm long (according to the size of the blouse).
Step 2
Place each part of the elastic tape on the wrong side of the sleeve exactly over the marked line. Tie the ends of the tape with tailor pins to the seam allowances of the sleeves. Pin the middle of the elastic tape to the middle of the sleeve.
Step 3
Stitch the elastic tape on a sewing machine in a zigzag stitch, while carefully stretching the elastic tape to the width of the sleeve.

Step 4
Fold each sleeve in half along the front side inward, aligning the slices. Chop off and grind the sleeves, grabbing the edges of the elastic tape into the seam. Cut the seam allowances close to the stitch, overcast and iron in one direction.
Step 5
Iron the bottom allowance for the bottom of each sleeve to the wrong side, tuck up to half the width and pin it. Sew the hem to the hem.

In the same way, you can sew an elastic tape (elastic band) on a one-piece jumpsuit, on a dress to emphasize or pick up the waist, to highlight the silhouette of an empire.
